Dry Eye Center

Dry eye syndrome is a prevalent issue among working-age adults and the elderly. It occurs when the lacrimal glands function abnormally, resulting in an insufficient quantity of tears to provide adequate moisture to the eyes, or when the tears produced lack proper quality. Tear moisture plays a crucial role in maintaining eye comfort and preventing infections.

Many people may overlook the importance of eye check-ups, assuming that if they don't have any vision problems, everything is fine. Eyelid Treatment

This is a treatment for dry eye caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), which occurs when the oil glands in the eyelids become blocked. The blockage leads to eyelid inflammation, dry eyes, redness, eye irritation, or recurrent styes. Dry eye caused by MGD results from reduced tear production by the main lacrimal gland or accessory lacrimal glands, or from poor tear quality, causing excessive evaporation that cannot be replaced in time.
