TRSC Ophthalmologists Join ESCRS 2025 in Copenhagen – A Global Platform for Innovation and Knowledge Exchange.

Copenhagen, Denmark – September 12–16, 2025 – The medical team from TRSC International Eye and Vision Center, led by Ekktet Chansue, M.D. - Medical Director of TRSC, participated in the 43rd Annual Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) 2025, one of the world’s largest and most influential ophthalmology congresses. 

Joining Ekktet Chansue, M.D. were TRSC’s distinguished ophthalmologists specializing in refractive surgery and eye care: Sukanda Swasdibutra,M.D., Pichit Naripatapan M.D., Chonthicha Jarumalai M.D., Pawika Thammano M.D., Assoc. Prof. Warintorn Jakkrawang M.D., Assoc. Prof. Chareenun Jirapaisansakul M.D., Methinee Jongjaroen M.D., and Thanakrit Sorsit M.D..

The ESCRS Congress serves as a premier global forum where ophthalmologists, researchers, and industry leaders converge to exchange knowledge, share clinical experiences, and update themselves on cutting-edge innovations in cataract surgery, laser vision correction, and comprehensive eye health care. 

This year, TRSC ophthalmologists were honored to represent Thailand on the international stage. Pichit Naripatapan M.D. and Thanakrit Sorsit M.D. were invited as esteemed speakers: 

Dr. Pichit contributed to discussions on the latest innovations in refractive surgery technology, including the session “What is the highlight of the ZEISS VISUMAX 800 for you?” as well as a forward-looking panel on the future of phakic IOLs, “What are the perspectives of the pIOL market in the future and what expectations do you have for the next generation pIOLs?” 

He also joined in-depth discussions on critical topics such as: 

• Which features or applications would help you if the VISUMAX 800 had them? 

• Where do you see areas of improvement for our ZEISS SMILE Pro application? 

• From your surgical experience, what do you consider the most significant clinical advantage of SMILE Pro over SMILE? 

Dr. Thanakrit presented at the Video Symposium in the session “Getting it wrong!”, sharing surgical insights to a packed audience of international ophthalmologists. His participation highlighted TRSC’s strong presence and expertise at this prestigious global event. 

Beyond lectures and presentations, TRSC’s delegation engaged in workshops, practical training labs, and interactive discussions with world-renowned experts, further strengthening their expertise and expanding collaboration opportunities in the global ophthalmology community.
