EVO Viva ICL is an Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) lens designed to correct both myopia and presbyopia which creates a smooth, continuous transition in refractive power across the lens.
Through its advanced EDOF design, EVO Viva ICL works in harmony with the eye’s natural structures, including the cornea and crystalline lens, it enables precise light focus onto the retina from multiple distances—allowing for clear, continuous vision across near, intermediate, and far ranges.
EVO Viva ICL is an evolution of the EVO ICL, specifically developed to correct both myopia and presbyopia (difficulty focusing up-close).
EVO Viva ICL is specially designed to guide light more precisely onto the retina, enabling a smooth transition of vision across different distances. This advanced optical design enhances visual continuity, providing seamless and consistent vision.
EVO Viva ICL is permanently placed inside the eye, with the natural crystalline lens left intact.

The Visian Implantable Collamer Lens, manufactured by STAAR Surgical (USA), is individually customized and imported from Switzerland.

A small corneal incision of approximately 3–3.5 mm is created, through which the ICL is inserted.
The lens is gently folded and placed inside the eye, then unfolds and positions itself behind the iris and in front of the natural lens, as planded by the surgeon.
The incision is self-sealing and does not require sutures.

Since the ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) is custom-made for each individual, the manufacturing time depends on the patient’s prescription. Therefore, the procedure cannot be performed immediately. The lens ordering process typically takes approximately 1–3 months, depending on the lens type.
At TRSC, ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) surgery is performed one eye at a time to ensure the highest level of safety. The surgeon will first evaluate the healing and visual outcome of the first eye before proceeding with treatment of the second eye.
At present, EVO Viva ICL does not provide correction for astigmatism
