Dr. Thanakrit Sorsith, an ophthalmologist from TRSC, was honored to share his experience at the international launch event of the Enova Advanced® EDOF lens.

On December 13, 2025, at the Humble House Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan, a manufacturer, developer, and distributor of intraocular lenses held a press conference to launch its new product, Enova Advanced® Preloaded Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) IOL.

Under the concept of "Non-compensatory focal length extension pathway: A novel clinical alternative to non-diffuse lenses," this project is supported by EyeCare Tech, an importer and distributor of ophthalmic lenses and medical devices from China, and VSY Biotechnology GmbH, a lens manufacturer and developer from Germany.

At the event, Dr. Thanakrit Sorsith, an ophthalmologist from TRSC International Eye & Vision Center and a specialist in ophthalmology and refractive surgery using artificial lens replacement, was invited as one of the speakers to share his experience and present real-world clinical case studies and treatment outcomes from Thailand. He focused on the care of cataract patients and those requiring vision correction using artificial lens replacement surgery to achieve vision at various distances. He emphasized the benefits of Advanced EDOF non-diffractive optics lenses, which provide continuous, natural vision and reduce glare.

Along with an in-depth analysis of the key advantages of Advanced EDOF in clinical applications.

Post-operative satisfaction and suitability for the surgery vary among patients based on their individual vision needs and lifestyles, as well as actual treatment experience and patient follow-up.

Being honored to be a speaker at this event reflects the role of Thai ophthalmologists on the international stage and reinforces our leadership in refractive surgery and the expertise of our specialist ophthalmologists in contributing to the development and exchange of knowledge on modern intraocular lens technology based on real surgical experience.
