🗓️ In September 2025, STAAR Surgical Company (USA)—a global manufacturer and developer of EVO ICL implantable lens technology—together with FILTECH ENTERPRISE 1994 Public Company Limited, the authorized importer and distributor of EVO ICL lenses in Thailand, presented the Global ICL Award for the Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand region to Pichit Naripthaphan, M.D.. The award recognizes his outstanding expertise and continued achievements in the surgical correction of myopia and astigmatism using EVO ICL implantation, with more than 500 eyes successfully treated.

In addition, the EVO ICL Legacy Partner Award 2025, presented to TRSC on the same occasion, marks an elevation of international collaboration and reinforces TRSC’s leadership in both patient volume and quality of care in refractive error treatment through EVO ICL implantation. This recognition is jointly conferred by STAAR Surgical Company (USA) and FILTECH ENTERPRISE 1994 Public Company Limited, the distributor of EVO ICL lenses in Thailand. ✨

On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Mr. Anuwat Lertpithaksoonthorn, Managing Director of FILTECH ENTERPRISE 1994 Public Company Limited, had the honor of presenting the award plaques at TRSC International Eye & Vision Center to Pichit Naripthaphan, M.D., together with Dr. Isorn Sookwanish, Chief Executive Officer, and Ms. Patima Sattabudsutthi, Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer of TRSC. 👏

📌 Beyond these accolades, Pichit Naripthaphan, M.D. is recognized as the first ophthalmologist in Thailand to perform refractive surgery for myopia and astigmatism using ICL and Accommodating IOLs under the Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health, since 2003. He continues to be a pioneer in refractive surgery, having performed the first and earliest cases in Thailand of long-sightedness correction using EVO Viva™ ICL with TRSC patients.
